Despite my hopes for Spring, the weather has been pretty windy and yuck here in Werribee, so I’ve been doing a lot of my movement indoors – I’ve dusted off the exercise bike (finally splashed out and bought myself a comfy seat online) which I use while watching YouTube videos, put a chinup bar onto the laundry door because it feels good to hang down from it and put an over-door suspension trainer in the spare room which I like to have a play on sometimes when I walk past, and because I’m a bit of a multi-tasker I keep a half foam roller on the kitchen floor so that I can do calf raises or calf stretches while waiting for the kettle to boil (not every time – there’s definitely a lot more coffee than calf raises).
I’d invite you to have a think as to whether there’s anything you might be able to strategically place somewhere convenient that might encourage you to do some of the movements you know make you feel good – or whether there’s anything like my new bike seat that might make some of the activities you do more comfortable.
I’ve also got the home studio up and running, so if you’re in the Werribee or Wyndham area and would like to train with me indoors or outdoors, I’ve got you covered.
In other news, I’ve just launched a second evening group fitness class online, which is at 6.30pm on Thursday nights, and made some improvements to the booking system by adding my calendar so that people can also book casual PT sessions online too.
I’d love to see you soon!
Warm regards,
Shelley
